And I should have already thanked you, Matt, for posting the link to it. A nice tribute to arguably the greatest car/driver combination in F1 history.

You just did and I thank you.

I can not help but if he has given any thought to the one record that he has not broken, or still owns (although he is no longer the youngest driver to win an F1 race. That record has been broken several times since he owned it). That is the oldest driver to ever win an F1 race. He has a way to go to set that one.

OK, Matt...I'll bite. Who might be the current holder of this record of interest to us types?

Only if you can throw a 100 MPH fast ball?

Back in 1988 I had a coworker that pitched in college try out for the Phillys. He threw an 88 MPH fast ball and was told that unless one can throw a 100 MPH fast ball one can not make the "show".

This VIDEO should make the guys at "Tool Time" take notice.

I wonder what he used for tires?

I would put this one under the heading "Not Cool". Watch this chase on a road near my house. This is nuts IMHO. Commander says officer did good. I would strongly disagree, given all he knew at the time was it was a speeder. What do think?

I for one have VERY MIXED thoughts on this.

First off: If one vehicle is being unsafe by driving at high speed and weaving in and out of traffic does it not make sense that two vehicles doing it is twice as unsafe?

On the other hand: If police did not give high speed pursuit what would prevent anyone (everyone) from driving as fast as they wished to go? The only reason that I don't drive my S at the speeds that I would feel comfortable at is knowing that I can get pulled over an face jail time. In the Commonwealth of Virginia that is one day in jail for every mile per hour over 90 MPH. If I knew that the police would not give chase I may be tempted to do that. That threat keeps me in check. So I am conflicted about this.
