In case you have NOT seen this VIDEO (on the news) of a nine year old self taught opera singer I had to share this. What a voice, and contrast to the "SCREAMERS" (that think that loud is good) on the American TV talent shows.
I may take some "heat" for this, but IMO most of the popular American "singing artist" these days just scream. For my tastes, I will take the sound of this nine year old or the voices of Joni Mitchell or Judy Collins any day over the likes of Alicia Keys, etc.

A lot of great videos lately!
But now for this: And you thought you were good cyclist…maybe you should see this before any more self praise and accolades. The first five seconds is a GoPro promo, after that the action begins.

The Korean conflict is often referred to as the "forgotten war". One of most horrific battles was at the Chosin reservoir, where the Americans were severely out numbered and this VIDEO tells the story that I had never heard before. In this case a "SNAFU" * actually worked.
* I think that I have mentioned this reference to SNAFU a couple of years ago. I had a former coworker that is somewhat of a "church lady" (bible thumper) from Alabama. I was surprised one day when she used the term SNAFU to explain a situation that turned out badly. I wish that I had a video of her reaction when I explained to her that the term "SNAFU" was not a word, but an acronym and explained to her what it really meant.

That swing looks like the typical Chinese made product. Broken on the first use.
