Driving in China

You don't want to be a pedestrian or a bike rider there...

WHOOPS! Can I smile to change feet, now that I stuck my foot in my mouth? Sorry.

Matt, I can't find your PM with question about US 50 and the Million Dollar Highway. Or was it an email? I'll look again.

It was a PM. I am trying to figure out if I want to go that far to the SW in Colorado after S2K Days (Keystone, SD AKA Mount Rushmore) . If so, what town should I plug into my GPS to hit the NE access point? I still have an open agenda for the drive home. I just know after my experience years ago (1980) riding a motorcycle west out of Colorado Springs to the summit of Pikes Peak that I have to drive the S in the Colorado Rockies when I am that close to driving "nirvana". On the other hand, the Plant Pixie will not be happy if I am gone for months, instead of weeks.

P.S. After watching the video that you posted, I can not help but wonder how many flat tires this guy may get because he drives in the shoulder's where all of the crap lands? I had a former co-worker that was always getting flat tires and after I drove with him it became apparent why.

Matt, you are so close to the best road I've ever seen. Do it! Yes, it'll delay you getting home by maybe one whole day. BFD. You're already almost there. Add it on. I'm in Richland, Utah, on my way to Grand Lake, Colorado and don't have my maps in from the car, but I can tell you roads I highly recommend when I do. I already told you about the Million Dollar highway but there's another road that Spokes Man and I did with our S2000s, that came into Aspen from Durango. You could do it in the opposite direction.
