I had to flip a coin between putting this in here or in joke of the day. It qualifies for both since it is funny as all get out and is a video.

We Californians are a bit different than the more populated east coast Vintage members. BTW, we should meet! I am guessing you live about an hour north-west of me so we hit different meets. The S2000 meets in my area are very few and far between but I do enjoy the NSX meets at least once a month.

Some of you may have seen this VIDEO before. Needless to say that either experience would be 
, But, there is NO doubt in my mind that I would have traded driving for being the back seat passenger in a heart beat.
May I suggest that you watch it in full screen at 720 P?

How about you? Which seat would you rather be in given only the choice of driving the Vette in a straight line or taking the ride in the back seat with a Blue Angel F-18 pilot?

Straight line speed holds "zero" appeal to me. Although a race car lover my entire life I have never been to a real drag strip. Yes, I did drag when I was 16 and stupid.

Like you, I have been a fan of road racing since I first watched LeMans in 1964 when Wide World of Sports covered it during Fords first attempt. I road raced motorcycles for years (because back then I could not afford to race cars), but I have never been to a drag strip. Although, I did get a chuckle a few years ago when driving in Europe with a co-worker who asked "Is it me, or did you just speed up going around that last curve in the road?"
