Well, the only tunnel in F1 is at Monaco for the GP of Monaco at Monte Carlo. It sounds awesome!. If you can't wait until May of 2013 one can experience that sound on one's PS3 with the 2011 Version of the F1 simulation. Yes, it is programmed so well that the sound changes when one drives through the tunnel.

 

Thank you for sharing this video which I thought was VERY COOL. It includes scenes from the 2012 race season. As a former motorcycle road racer I especially liked the Moto GP scenes. I have several regrets about when I road raced motorcycles with WERRA (the Western Eastern Road Racing Association), which was the two wheel equivalent of the the SCCA back in the 70's. The first is that frame geometry was based on tubular chassis which flexed like crazy. The second was the bias ply tire technology back then pretty much sucked by modern standards. And last but not least, was there was no video technology to capture my races.

Of course, the "old racers hand book states: "The older I get, the faster I was".

There is a part of me that would so LOVE to try THIS . But I guess that my time has passed. This vintage heart could probably not take that kind of excitement, or the climb up the mountain for that matter.
