The following was sent via E-mail to me from a former Co-worker / friend. IMHO he is one of the "Greatest Generation". You may want to have a box of tissues handy.

It reads as follows:

If you were to take a movie script to Hollywood with this plot you'd be laughed right out of town because this story is so unbelievable but true!. It wouldn't even make good fiction.
This needs to be made into a movie! or more rightly into an "EPIC"!

If you have an ounce of American patriotism this story will put chills down your spin. And this guy did so much and he wasn't even a citizen of the United States when he did it!!!! What a story. I was mesmerized and spell bound. After listening to it four times I still can't get enough. I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

And then I think of the snot nosed spoiled brat "occupiers" who have the privilege of desecrating our cities with their complaints because they don't have enough or they want more. Well, if they had have a brain or ambition they would do what this man did and contribute to our greatness rather than run it into the ground.

Chuck

This says it all. This is a man that has been to hell and back several times over. For him to have gone through so much, waited so long, for proper recognition and not be bitter is amazing. The Almighty had to be and probably still is watching over him. A one in a trillion person ………… very glad he is an American. You definitely should watch all the way to the end……………………….

The link to this VIDEO was sent to me by an a friend that I knew from High School growing up in Queens in NYC. The neighborhood just to the south of the one grew up in is Ozone Park (Joe Banano country). I went to seven and part of the eight grade at a Public School that was directly across from Aqueduct Race Track. As most of Queen's streets are on a grid system I remember walking to school and seeing the police crime scene horses and tape when they would find someone in the trunk of a car. Or one of my memories is when they found someone handcuffed to the seat rail on the back of the front seat of a Cadillac (remember those railings from the 50's and 60's?) With a clothes drier hose running from the tail pipe into the barely opened left rear window. A lot less messy than a shot to the head.

I don't think that this VIDEO is cool at all. But I guess that in Russia, like in China, when people that have not grown up with being in cars all of their lives and then they suddenly can afford one they do stupid things.
