This VIDEO (take the gender out of it) is a good example of why I have enjoyed driving with my S2000 friends over the last decade plus.
With very few exceptions, I have loved the fact that on most of our drives that if one was standing on the side of the road with a stop watch as we drove past, that they would almost always see a two second separation between our cars during our drives.
