I'm a huge fan of large scale natural events. Simply awesome.

Neat video. Having recently (last August) witnessed glacier calving, although to a much less degree, I am also a fan of these kind of events. The noise that is made when a calving occurs sounds just like thunder (heard in the video), which is why the native Alaskans called it "white thunder."

Everyone should take a cruise through the Inside Passage. It was one of the best trips I have made.

An Alaskan trip has always been on my to do list. Though the wife doesn't do boats, so I'd probably try to make it a man trip.

This VIDEO (take the gender out of it) is a good example of why I have enjoyed driving with my S2000 friends over the last decade plus.

With very few exceptions, I have loved the fact that on most of our drives that if one was standing on the side of the road with a stop watch as we drove past, that they would almost always see a two second separation between our cars during our drives.

Videos of people who don't have a clue how to drive isn't entertaining to me; its just sad.

If you really want to see something "sad" watch this VIDEO. Just think: These people get to vote! I could not post this on the politics thread as a guest ( I guess). Even if one takes the current President and modern politics out of the equation, it is sad (to me) that people that vote are so uninformed that they don't ever realize that Karl Marx has been dead for over 195 years.

Typical Jay Leno man on the street routine - one idiot thought Hawaii and Alaska bordered the US. (But I looked it up and it does not. )
