Yeah, I noticed that.
Saw that myself.....

It all depends from who you buy the Chinese made stuff..... for the most part, most of what I have purchased (for work, $1mm) from Chinese manufacturers, has been as good if not better than US made...... (OK, flame the sh*t out of me for this!)....

But then, some Chinese companies that I have dealt with.... well, they haven't been that good.....just need to do your homework before signing on the dotted line with them!

That being said.... a couple of my domestic machine shops have taken contracts recently as Chinese goods have increased in price!

At work we don't buy Chinese goods but we send a container full of products to China every month.

I encourage you all to see the documentary Blackfish. I taped it from CNN and it is likely to be replayed there. Also think it is available on Netflix. It is about the Orcas- Killer Whales- and the story of one in particular. I won't go into details, but it was a real eye-opener for me.
