Have you all forgotten about the evacuation of British troops from Dunkirk in 1940?

Here are a couple of VIDEOS from the air show that I volunteered at today. The introductions that I posted on the front of the videos are self explanatory. (I hope).

The Euro Fighter is being flown by our soon to be new neighbor, that is also a "motor head". He has a Z06 Corvette and a A/C Cobra replica among other toys that will occupy the six car garage with twelve foot ceilings with lifts so he can double deck them.

Not at all. May I suggest that you go back an listen to the last few seconds where Tom Hanks explains that the Dunkirk evacuation of 339,000 troops took nine days. In the NYC evacuation over 500,000 people were evacuated in JUST NINE HOURS. In all due respect, the former was a military operation that was planned, the latter was an impromptu effort based on the effort of civilians that make me proud to be an American.

Fascinating 10 min video of assembly line workers building a 1936 Pontiac.

Contrary to the popular belief of many people that think that people only go to races to watch the crashes, I always respond that they have must not have ever been to a race when someone gets seriously injured or killed.

As a motor head and former road racer I have a tremendous amount of respect for the Marshals that do a great job. This often allows racers to walk away from horrific accidents as in this VIDEO

Regardless of what you think of "Barber Shop Quartet" singing I think that you will have to agree that not only was this PERFORMANCE good enough to win but it was very creative.

P.S. As a foot note, back in 1977 I had a house mate that sang "Barbershop". He would wake up around 05:00 and practice his baritone part while in the shower, which was a bit disturbing to the other two of us that shared the house.

I'm always up for a good practical joke as long as no one gets hurt or it does not cost the victim money. I like this ONE
