Default Vacation Plans - 2024 Edition

Won’t be long before 2024 rolls around, so post your plans here. We have just scheduled a trip to Phoenix in Feb for Vito to run the Lost Dutchman Half Marathon again. Guess he did not learn his lesson last time when the weather was the worst in Phoenix history - driving rain, winds and temps in the 40s. But it is a beautiful area around Apache Junction and the Superstition Mountains. We will see family and friends, too.

Nothing scheduled yet. I have a folder in which I have previous planned vacations that were cancelled due to Covid or family reasons.

I'd still like to get to the area in New Brunswick Canada that we were supposed to travel to this year. The folder also has plans/info for a trip to Savannah, GA which I could combine with a family visit to SC. Areas of VA interest me, as do some of the national parks out west.

We are in a bit of a holding pattern right now......

I haven't been anywhere since I went to Florida before Covid. Same old same old, hoping to take a trip to Florida and also to get out to Montana. If I drop my night job it may happen but haven't made that decision yet.

I can't plan that far ahead according to the psych test I took in college.

All I have planned so far is California for Thanksgiving and Florida in early and mid February.

We'll see what the year brings but we're hoping to do a bit of island hopping in the Caribbean.

I'll go to Montana for you Robb. Leaving on Saturday for a week. I take some pics.

A few months ago, I won a vacation in Antigua at a golf event. We have to pay the all inclusive costs, but the resort costs are paid for. Apparently, it's a 5 star hotel and Michelin rated restaurant on premises. I don't think I'll have any issues eating my share. We have to check historical hurricane season, but we're thinking November for our anniversary in 2024.
