[QUOTE=Kyras,Sep 21 2006, 12:08 PM] Maybe it was a neat little car but it still looks like a turd!

[QUOTE=grannyrod,Sep 21 2006, 01:37 PM] I'm sorry, but this one gets my vote for the ugliest by far.

While the Yugo was certainly a waste of recycled cans, it's looks were pretty standard econobox and noot that far from the Civic and VW Golfs of the period.

That's true ... but while I saw several of the Yugo's on the road when they were new, I don't recall that any of them ran well even when the paint looked fresh ... but then again ... in the neighborhoods I saw them, nearly everything was trashed.

Yugo story.

We were driving a 1997 Eagle Talon Turbo AWD. Nice car. On the way home from a trip to PA, we had many toll booths to go through. Rick likes to be first off the line from a toll booth.

Anyway, he had been having his fun during the couse of the day. At one toll both he sprinted out, ran through the gears, etc. I looked in my sideview mirror and told him he just beat out a Yugo.

These are all collected from

Some are simply weird.
Others are interesting and rare.
Some are truely beautiful.
Some are ugly to the core.
