Ken,

I have to admit that this is the first time that I have ever seen "Lake Pipes" on a Capri.

Back in the early 70's I dated a woman that had a 72 Capri. I have to admit that it was FUN to drive. We use to swap cars once in a while as she enjoyed driving my 69 Firebird. Which was BIG TIME NOSE HEAVY. I enjoyed the more neutral handling of her Capri.

Well, let me see if I can remember all of them

1956 Buick Special (hard top convertable) (no B pillars)
1963 VW Bug (40 HP)
1969 Firebird (4.1 Litre Over Head Cam with a 6,500 RPM redline)
1976 Chevy G-20 long wheel base van to haul my Kawasaki S-3 Race bike, the H-2, and an occassional 1979 Honda CBX (one of my favorite motorcycles, In line Six clylinder 1043 CC)
1979 Honda Prelude (company car)
1979 Toyota Supra (company car )
1979 Honda Accord hatchback
1980 Chevy Caprice Classic (company car)
1986 Honda Civic Si hatchback
1982 Cadillac ElDorado Biaritz (company car that I hated)
1988 Toyota 4X4 pickup
1983 Ford Expolder (Five speed transmission, four door XLT, with +1 Michelins, IPD front and rear sway bars, Bilstein gas shocks and a Borla cat back system) Purchased from a friend in June of 2000, it now has just under 211,000 miles on it.
2003 Honda S2000 (that just turned over 71,600 miles)
1999 Infinity I-30

On the motorcycle side I have owned the following:

1972 Kawasaki S-2
1974 Kawasaki S-3 (Production race bike)
1974 Yamaha MX125 play off road bike

I have riden the following bikes as either a race bike or a company owned demo:

1979 Honda CBX (three different bikes)
1980 Honda CX500 Turbo
1974 Kawasaki H-2 ( Highly modified with a Wirges motor. The scariest thing that I have been in or on.)
1982 Yamaha Venturer
1982 Honda Sabre
1986 Yamaha V-Max
1986 Pulse

I am fairly certain that I am forgetting the a few or not mentioning some such as the Yamaha XV-920 that I rode up to the top of Pikes Peak in Sept of 1980. Or the Harley that I rode. etc.

I have to state that when it comes to ground vehicles with wheels my favorites are no doubt distilled down to the following:

The Dodge Viper RT (Skip Barber School)
The Honda S2000
The Honda CBX

My other all time favorite is in my Avatar.

The legendary plane known as the "Big Stearman"

Thanks. I spent a few hundred bucks and had both the driver's and the passenger's seats foam replaced in my CTS. It's made a big improvement.

I learned to drive a manual transmission in a '67 VW bug
Moved on to a 69 firebird, later had an MG midget (LOVED IT when it would run)
Had a 60 something corvette stingray
We had a twin turbo 350 ZX and a couple/mustangs before I got hooked on the S2000.

I also had a Mazda 626 GT turbo (good car but terrible torque steer) and an '85 Rabbit (what a POS but I loved it, and people used to come up to me and ask if they could buy it).

I forgot to list the car that came afer the Miata....my "Silver Bullet". If Toyota brought back the Supra, I must confess I would be tempted.
