Default Time setting?

Daylight savings time is still in effect, yet my time setting is off by an hour. Anyone else?

I checked my board settings and I still have the box for daylight savings time checked off.

Was this something that happened when cthree did his thing a couple of weeks ago, and it just took me a while to notice?

They did, but , in the past, Daylight saving times ended at the end of October. No reason for the time to be off now.....

Hey Lainey,

I saw this in another part of the forums, in the Site Info section.

Not sure if this really explains why, but at least others are having the same problem.

(I just checked mine, and like one of the other people, mine is not really an hour off, it is only 54 minutes off. )

The server is probably off by an hour. There was a patch that had to be put on most of the Windows server OS's (and probably something similar for Linux or whatever this server is running) that adjusted the dates when the system automatically switched from dst to standard time and back to the new dates.

Actually, mine is off an odd amount of time as well. At least it's not just me. I hate being singled out.
