Thanks, Patty.

I'll mention this to Rick and let him decide. It is a very TINY hole, but we can see other wear spots. The car is not garaged, so he fears any little hole letting water get in somehow. We'd rather not spend the $$, but he might prefer to just bite the bullet and get a new top.

My 07 top is still in pretty good shape. That may be due to it's being garaged, and operating mostly in a favorable climate. But it sees some sun, rain, dust, and even snow at times. ( I also clean and treat it regularly with Aerospace 303 products.) I think I will replace it with a tan top when it goes.

Harry is this a one off or are they planning to make more of these? Maybe on an order by order basis?

Looks great by the way. I've always loved tan tops.

Very nice, Harry! I vote to remove the tape and let the red shine through.

I took the tape off my '06 and I think it made the whole car have a different look. My '09 came without the tape on it.

I concur: the tape must come off the windshield frame.
