I've been walking figure eights in the shallow end of the pool for 30 minutes when I get home from work. Very low impact but great aerobic/cardio because of the water resistance.

Plus you can't tell if you're sweating or not.

It's a lot more effective if you do it in the deep end of the pool. HPH

[b][i] What if there was something simple you could do every day that would burn calories, be good for your heart, and help you stay young. You'd do it, right?

I have tried running shoes and walking shoes. I should try again with new walking shoes. I just changed back to some old running shoes to do the elliptical at the gym and noticed a good difference. I know shoes make a big difference when your feet are taking the brunt of your actions.
Look at the cross trainers too!

It depends. Will it require removing myself from the sofa? Is there a risk of sweat production? If so, then probably not.
Dean, I think you would have to remove yourself from the sofa and you might possibly sweat too.

We'll try to think of something else for you.

Well, of course it does! But you have to do "it" every day.

By "doing it" do you mean walking or "it"?

Why, walking, of course. Get your mind out of the gutter!

Of course, in the pool, with the extra friction of the water...hmm...

Hopefully, it'll be something that involves cigarettes, booze, and psychoactive drugs. Otherwise, why would I want to live a long time? I've got nothing left.
