Attack, attack, attack.

Lots of demagoguery and misrepresentation on both sides.

In other words, more of the same.

( I think my sig is particularly appropriate today).

Wow, that last bit about Social Insecurity was the most outright BS and obfuscation I've ever heard from Kerry at one time.

Bush's timid reforms are at least in the right direction.

Well, it's almost over, and to me, regardless of the points being made, Kerry is coming across much better than the President. How much does that count for? Not sure...

I just heard this goody from Bush: "People can worship whether they want to or not".

I think it counts for a lot in terms of getting votes. To the TV audience perception is everything.

I think Kerry did himself a world of good with these debates.

Yeah, W. is definitely not a master of the language. I see Kerry as the polar opposite of the president in this regard, but I think he might be a little too far in that direction for the general audience. In short I think Kerry's long-winded speech isn't much better than the president's nonsesical remarks when viewed through Joe Schmoe's eyes.

I don't think it's a stretch to say anyone who watched the debates tonight already has their mind made up so it was pretty much a waste of time..... but for anyone to say Bush did not slaughter Kerry tonight is just lying to themselves.

One other thing, bringing Cheney's daughter into the debate was one of the lowest moments in recent political history I can remember. I would expect a full apology from Kerry tomorow.... or more likely a flip flop of what he meant to say.

Kerry was very much on the defensive tonight and that alone is a indication that he lost.
