MsPerky......is there a Vintage facebook page?
Yes...I started one called "Cool Car Folks" a couple years ago and invited a few people whose "real" names I knew. We aren't very active, but occasionally someone will post. If you would like to join, PM me your Facebook name and I will add you. It is a private group, so no one but the members see anything that is posted, unlike this forum, which the whole world can see.

(Sorry, Jerry MA.)
Thank you for reminding me of it being private, Gene. I could go there and bitch to my heart's content and not worry about the subject seeing it.

Gene has answered the Facebook question...good, since I don't belong to any social media sites other than this one. Just not my thing. If Vintage bites the dust, I guess I'll go down with it.

I still love to go to Vintage Meets even if I have to fly back.
I still love the car but just cannot justify buying another one since our lives have become a little different and we have different needs/wants. Often I have thoughts I'd like to post, but just don't due to the openness of this forum and like you said, Patty, I think "who cares?". A lot of times MsPerky has been kind enough to let me vent by phone. (Thank you, MsP) I miss seeing you guys personally A LOT but occasionally a straggler from Vintage finds her way down here for a visit and I love it. This is the only place that I post much but I do try to check out FB more than I formerly did. I have a few friends on there (some of whom I met here) that I love to keep up with.

I just noticed on the Forums page that a record of S2Ki users online at once (2844) was set in July. So maybe things aren't that dire after all.

I still have my S and still enjoy it and plan on keeping it. I still think this is a great forum but I felt I was spending way too much time on the computer and not enough time out in the real world. When my computer died I decided not to replace it so now I occasionally stop at the library to catch up.

I hear you Rob! When we are at our summer cottage near Gettysburg, I drop into the MacD's nearby to log-in for a half hour or so....or an hour....or two

As much as I am NOT a fan of chain fast-food places, I do appreciate MacD's locations along every Interstate. Driving to/from Florida last February, that was an easy quick stop to stretch my legs (and check online )
