We didn't intend it this way but life has a way of organizing our lives.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
You haven't really had Thanksgiving until you have it in Massachusetts.

Planning to go to my daughter's. Her s/o's parents will be there and I'm sure we'll have an enjoyable time. Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

Our thanksgiving tradition starts tonight. Meeting up with a nearly a dozen other couples at a local pub. Something we've been doing for many, many years.

Thanksgiving starts for us tonight too. Adam is driving in from Ohio. Should be here late tonight. Best possible Thanksgiving, just the 4 of us together.

As you can imagine we miss Adam terribly so anytime we see him its a treat. Andrew, my oldest son is moving out in January, so we (Liz and I) anticipate it being too quiet and lonely around here. This is going to be a very special Thanksgiving. Lots to be thankful for.

Thanks Gene. It was a good read and I didn't know the entire story of the song. I had thought it was introduced and performed for the first time at Newport.

It really has become the official song of Thanksgiving.

You can get anything you want,
At Alice's restaurant.

I'm not quite sure why we bought a turkey in the store this year.
Three of those stupid birds decided to hold a T-day protest on my street by blocking the road.
I was perfectly willing to harvest them with my bumper but my beloved pointed out we already had a bird in the fridge.

^ My dad was attacked by a bunch of wild turkeys down in NC once. Kinda scary. What time is all y'all puttin' on the feed today? I'm thinking mid afternoon.
