[QUOTE=Lainey,May 10 2009, 09:29 PM] John, I'd bet you feel the memories more than make up for the price of the tolls. At least gas was a bit cheaper than the last time we all met!
[QUOTE=zippy/dave]
nuts huh! For me you could add in another $10-$15 round trip if i had gone

Big ups to Zippy, Lainey and the rest of the planners. It was well worth me coming out of retirement. What a great meet, great time, great folks, great weather, great everything. Thank you all for making more wonderful memories. I'll be commenting more later after I wake up but I came in to work even though I'd taken the day off to recuperate. That's how rejuvenating the meet was for me. You guys just don't know........

Add my thanks to Zippy, Nancy, and the drive leaders for a wonderful meet.
Also, for those of you who took I-95 across Delaware, a special thanks for your contribution to helping to reduce our budget deficit, by traveling on one of the most expensive (per mile) toll roads in the US!

Yeah, Ken and Nancy, and Lainey, and Gene, and Maury, and Jerry PA, and uhtha Ken, and Roy and Carole, and everybody who collaborated on SF09 and made it such a wonderfully successful and memorable meet! Chris remarked that it was probably her all time favorite meet -- she had such a good time! And thanks to all the Vintage folks who came to their first meet -- and to the prevints who always make our community bigger and better! And of course all the old hands who just keep on coming to the events! Speaking of whom, -- among many other regular SF-ers, Bill and Barbara, Lainey and Rick, Terry and Marcie, Jonas and Virginja, Dave and Donna, Rheann, Bea, et. et. al., the list goes on --, you were missed at SF09!
BTW, Everybody keep in mind we will be having a Vintage Fall <Colorado Aspen> Colors (mini)meet weekend -- for all who will come -- at the end of September 09 at our place in the Four Corners area near Durango with a two-mountain-pass drive up to Silverton and Ouray (not far away). Announcement soon. You can fly in to Durango -- or drive out! We already have attendance semi-pledges and expressed interest from CO, CA, MD, VA, TX and AZ. It will happen.
