Martha, as another person with a dog in their avatar, and as another Dean (that's me, really), I feel a connection already. If you ever decide to leave that other Dean, let me know. I won't leave my +1, but it's always good to have options.

So now I'll just be plain old ordinary martha
Now, martha, I've never met you or dean but since you are his +1, I am sure that you are far from "plain old ordinary".

It's nice to know one might someday be considered as an option! Your +1 must be as great as mine, because I wouldn't ever consider letting him get away either, but it's nice to have a "connection"!

I fear tis true -- it's like that bright red male cardinal and his plain brownish mate. You can only have one colorful character per relationship I think!

I'm too lazy to be a super-hero and too old to be a sex goddess. I'm like that golden retriever in the picture -- content and loyal is best you'll get from me! But thanks, I think!
Well, one thing is for sure: She will not be using a image of "Flipper" for her avatar?

Dean, it sounds like you have nothing to worry about!
When my +1 worked in a big company, I would send her flowers to her at work periodically. All the ladies thought she was so lucky and what a great guy I was. (little did they know...) It's just putting out options, so if she ever walks out on me, my choices will be wide and varied. (Of course it did wonders for our relationship too.)
All you men out there, take some flowers home tonight for your lady, and post here Monday what the reaction was. Try it, tell her it's just because she's special.

On rethinking this situation, I could have your +1 "disappear" (I know people!) ! Flowers? Between you and Lainey's "organization" I think I need to learn a new vocabulary!

Dean. I'm up for air, but I am awaiting orders to dive again.
