Temu is considered a spying app. Here is an article from a woman that I follow regarding tech issues.

In March I returned an item to Amazon, very easy to do, just took it to Whole Foods. No box, no wrapping, just the return bar code. Looked for it today on my credit card statement and it didn’t show a credit even though the website said they credited it. I called Amazon and the automated voice told me it was credited to my gift card. Crap. I bought it with my on record credit card and expected it to be credited there. That ticks me a bit. Yes, I’ll use it up, already have AAMOF, but they should refund purchases to the method it was purchased.

On Temu, I don’t do any shopping or banking or purchasing on my cell phone. I don’t trust anybody or any company with my financial info. Not even Amazon. Especially not Temu.

One month ago my son had to return a jacket to Adidas which he bought on-line. By accident I shipped it back to Amazon with a return label that I mixed up with one other return I was doing at the same time. I called Amazon to see if they could return the jacket to us and I offered to cover the shipping cost, fully knowing that it was likely lost for good. They just ended up refunding me $161 no questions asked, which shocked me. We never purchased it from Amazon and it was clearly a shipping error on our part, they had no obligation to refund us , but they did, amazing service even if it was wrong.

Until a couple of years ago, I’d use AliExpress from time to time. However, since China has decided that they need to artificially expand their borders in the South China Sea and, lately, failed to condemn the invasion of Ukraine, my wife and I have decided that nothing with the label Made in China will henceforth enter our house (or garage).

In total it took 5 days to get my answer but I did get an email tonight with the all the dimensions I was looking for. China or not, I am buying it since they are the only source.

Harry, unless you plan to leave the planet you are making an impossible goal.
