Up at the cabin in Soda Springs very close to the Donner Party location. Wife and the dogs. Daughter and husband will be here for Thanksgiving day. Spend most of the day smoking the turkey on the deck. A nice wine and Cuban cigar round out the experience. Once you have had a smoked turkey, you will never go back to an oven turkey.

 

Change of plans. Donna just tested positive for Covid.

Thanks, she probably got it from me. I was so tired for several days last weeks I was sleeping 10 hours a day. I probably should have got tested but didn't bother to.

 

Having Thanksgiving with GF's Step Mom's family. Friday is her immediate family. (my family is scattered to the four winds).

I remember you said you didn't feel well. I forgot if you had tried a home test or not?

My chest started to feel funny this afternoon. Felt like an asthma issue, but who knows. I do have non expired tests on hand, but I know those tests are not always reliable/accurate. I told my son if I'm not feeling well, he'll get meals on wheels.
