No, I have no interest in it and have never watched it. I'll be working on the house and writing Anatomy & Physiology exams. I may do some grocery shopping too, if all the snow birds will be home watching the SB.
Commie! If you don't watch the Super Bowl then the terrorists win.

We're making chicken and dumplings and steamed veggies. But John's menu sounds a lot better.

^^ Containing mostly galanga root, ground kaffir lime leaves, lemongrass, and soy, this soup is not cost effective - or here even possible - to make from scratch. Thus, we use Tom Yom base and go from there. This base is available in several brands in most all Oriental food stores, mostly in glass jars. We prefer the dry powder made by Dragonfly but is hard to find. Add base to boiling water until you get a fairly intense flavor, but the more you add the much spicier it becomes. So, you must add to taste and tolerance. We typically add Thai garlic sauce, sliced water chestnuts, cut /sliced green onions, firm tofu, and oyster mushrooms to give the broth some body. Also, after much experimenting we also add sugar and vinegar. We much prefer a slight sweet taste - as do restaurants - and a hint of sour. We eat it often and like it a lot. Give it a try. The flavors won't seem unusual if you appreciate Thai food. Enjoy.
sounds good, John....is it like a Thai Hot N Sour soup?

Watched the first half with friends. Glad to come home at half time. His house was a bit chilly for me.....Nice and comfy in our home now, heat cranking.

Great game. Both teams played well. Saints deserved the win. There were 2 big plays that had a lot to do with the outcome. The WHO were an embarrassment. Not as many good commercials this year.

I watched the last two minutes before half time and that was a half hour too much.

I watched the second half. Lots of raucous fun at the block party.
