Thumbs up Super Bowl - will you watch

Will you watch the Super Bowl?

We don't have much interest in it. If we watch, it's mostly for the commercials, and I'd likely be reading or hanging here in between.

JC Penney is having a sale and I need a dress for a wedding.......maybe I'll go shopping instead.

Unlike prior to retirement, the super bowl is now a quiet affair for us. There will be good eats though.

My honey will be watching so I'll see some of it. I doubt I'll sit down and stay put, though.

Yes, I will definitely watch the Super Bowl!

College and pro football used to be a big deal in our household with three sons. My middle son (in the Army now), was a NFL fanatic. Now they're all grown and gone, so I watch my football games alone most of the time. The sights and sounds bring back a lot of memories of years gone by, and I enjoy the games.

Although we lived in two major football cities (Kansas City and Denver), I am not a die-hard fan of any particular team. Some I like, some I don't care for (Raiders). Things change over the years, and teams evolve and dissolve.

Sunday's game should be good, and I'm looking forward to watching it and eating multiple bowls of my homemade hamburger soup.

Guess how I voted, ms. poll lady?

Actually, I will probably watch it because my +1 will be in Florida with her sister and I will be dog-sitting. Normally, we go out to dinner during that time. There is no one in the restaurants!

I voted ' other', because I probably won't make it to the party before the second half if at all.

Geaux Saints!

Is that this weekend? Anyone know who's playing? (Tells you how much I follow football...)

I think this Sunday will be a great day to hit the slopes and do some skiing with Anika. The slopes are usually pretty empty on Super Bowl Sunday.

Gene-

Too bad the weather's likely to still be lousy on Sunday (?), or we could meet halfway for dinner at whatever time the game between whatever teams are playing

So....can you guess my vote??
