It's a bit early to start considering plans for the summer, but I'm doing it anyway. I'm thinking about renting a cottage near the beach in the Rehoboth Beach, Delaware neighborhood. I've never been there and I've heard it's nice. I would be looking for a place to hold 4 adults and two young kids for a week or so.

Anyone have any leads on finding a place or what I might expect to find there?

Crises, I love that part of the MD/DE coastline because it's so much more quiet and peaceful than the Ocean City end of things. If you want some action, you can always roll down the road a bit to OC then come back to the peace and quiet of Rehoboth. Best of both worlds and the beaches are nice. And it's never too early to start since it's a hot spot. Good luck.

The +1 has decided we are taking his kids to a dude ranch in June...found a cool one out in the Shenandoah near Luray. So no beach for them.

We went to Rehoboth for about 15 years while our kids were growing up. It's a great vacation spot, clean beaches and a great boardwalk at night. Also a cute little amusement park on the boardwalk for the kiddies. We always stayed at the "Star of the Sea". 1 or 2 bedroom condos right on the beach. You'll love it!
