Thanks for taking the time to shoot and to post those great pics of some true automotive legends, Dave. Can you imagine the looks you would get driving down the toad in the Daytona or the Pure Oil Catalina?

I wonder if The Gilmore would ship the Catalina down here for Cruisin' the Coast if I agreed to foot the shipping bill.

The setting of the Gilmore Museum is so nice, I meant to visit it in past years but never got there when I was in Michigan, it is on my bucket list though. I want to visit it soon when I have some free time. Driving a model T is a great offering , I would love to do it during a visit.

Thanks Mike. We were there as a memorial to a fellow MGA'er. It was a great drive over in great weather with car people from MI, OH, IL in attendance. Even my wife said she thought the museum was awesome (she who loves horses, not cars), lots of hugs with friends and his family, then a great drive home, great pizza at a favorite bar on the way home, a great day . . . that was Monday. In the middle of Wednesday night ... the drainage flood gates opened in my head. I tested positive for COVID today. Those were the only people I was around all week. Still, assuming I don't get any worse, I will lift the Jameson I just poured to a great museum. That was just a small part of it and they keep adding new buildings on the many acres there.

^ sounds like a great trip and drive Dave, sorry to hear about the Covid but there is a lot of it going around. I had it 2 months ago with my wife, my cousin just got it last week, it seems like everyone who has it is affected for about 7-8 days, with the worst of it being over by 3-4 days. Feel better soon with that prescription of yours.

I hate wearing masks on airplanes but I'm going to put some in my purse right now for my flight to CA next Tuesday.

The nasty thing with Covid is that it is very contagious when a person may not show symptoms, at least with M pox you have to make contact with those who have the open sores ? so you should be able to avoid it, at least that is my take on it.

It's not just the airplanes, airports too. Any crowded place is likely to be filled with Covid germs.

As far as station wagons, we had two when I was growing up. A '56 Ford that was a real POS. I know it was used, and I can't remember how old it was when we bought it, but it was most problematic. We then had the '59 Chevy Wagon. Those big fins, and it was a two tone green/yellow. Most distinctive.

My son's first car was a Renault Wagon. I think it was a business associate of Rick's that was selling it. It was a stick shift which my son liked and he liked the room in the back for sports equipment...hockey sticks and what not. For a Renault, it was pretty reliable.

Hey, Dave. I just read your reply as I've been ill for a couple days myself, but negative for Covid.

Sorry you fell victim but it sounds like the trip was worth a few days with the sniffles. (Knock on wood, that's all you will suffer through.)
