Sometimes I get so sick of the media

Well, now it's getting even sleazier. It appears that the perv may have been pimping out boys to rich donors.

You go up the chain of command. You don't make confrontations to the accused, you don't get a baseball bat, you don't call the police, you don't go to the media.

If you don't want a "war of words" why the Louisville Slugger reference? I have to assume it was directed at me as I'm the only one to mention it in this thread.

I am somewhat surprised that some people feel Joe did the right thing passing it up the line. This is not stealing money or robbing a bank this is child molestation which to me is a red flag that is way beyond anything else. To me there is no excuse for his not handling this personally period. Trying to put blame on the media for this seems lame to me.

A week ago it didn't seem so lame. It's been a week of constant new developments.

There's no case of "he said/she said" here. There was a credible eyewitness account of a heinous felony that was never reported to the authorities. Period, end of story.
As far as I'm concerned, Paterno is paying absolutely zero for his part in this coverup. He retires with full benefits at the age of 82; where's the "paying the price" in that?
On a related note, does anyone else wonder about the fact that all of this became public
a couple of weeks AFTER Joe Pa set the record for most wins by a coach? Mighty suspicious...
And what kind of piss poor excuse for a human being is the graduate assistant who witnessed a rape in progress and just walked away?

One has to if the "BIG Business" of college football has caused people to loose their "moral compass" in our society? Additionally, WTF does this have to do with over turning cars and other acts of vandalism??? I can never figure out the connection, besides it just being an excuse?
