Sometimes I get so sick of the media

It seems that good old dead Joe not only knew what was going on with Sandusky, but actually talked Penn State admins into not reporting Sandusky to the police. What a spineless, self-serving POS.

It just gets worse and worse .....Looks like everybody in authority at PS were just plain scared to death of Ol' Joe Pat and the power he appeared to have.
I hope they all get everything they so justly deserve.

I'm an admitted cynic when it comes to this kind of thing,(cover up) and I'm not at all surprised by this. I suspected this from the beginning. This is so similar to the "scandal" of that "other organization"; I expected that as the layers were peeled off, more info would come to light, as to how nothing mattered but protecting the school and the income yielded from football.
Disgusting. All of them involved deserve the same treatment Sandusky gave to those kids and more.
At least they aren't protected by the Vatican and sent to Rome and to take a high ranking Cardinal job, like the Boston Cardinal who shuffled the abusive priests from parish to parish.

Dave, I agree and disagree with your first post. Yes at times I feel the press is way out of line. They can make persuade voters, create unfair advantages and destroy people's lives...but, in this case I feel the media brought lots of attention to the horrific crimes of child sexual abuse. Because of this constant barrage at Penn State, every college is revamping it's guidelines on this. Every school in general is looking at it's present policies and as a business owner my HR guy has instructed me to supply information to all of my employees (8). In this respect I am glad what the media has done.

And Maury , many colleges and universities tended to be fiefdoms, where speaking out or disagreeing with admin. could be very detrimental to your long term employment.
