Sometimes I get so sick of the media

Sickening. I'll bet plenty more young men will come forward too.

Does this defense attorney think the entire planet fell off a turnip truck????
If a kid needs "help" in the personal hygiene department, you TELL them what to do, there is no "show and tell" here.
Idiots.

Maybe, just maybe, this is all scripted so that, after he gets convicted, Uncle Jerry can file for vacating the conviction on the basis of an incompetent defense.
(I don't know whether that leaves you open to a re-trial with a more competent attorney; but even if it does, the publicity of the first trail would tend to contaminate the second, wouldn't it?) HPH

I guarantee you this will never get to trial. They backed out of the hearing when they found out all those witnesses were actually going to show up and testify! He's either going to plea deal or off himself before then.

I think you are right, Deb.

Defense attorneys come up with some crap that anyone with two brain cells and a nerve connecting them would find outrageous. But they're catering to "twelve people too stupid to be able to get out of jury duty."
Some years ago, I read in the newspaper about a defense attorney whose client was charged with rape. The attorney argued that since the woman with a knife held to her throat talked the guy into using a condom, she had consented to sex and thus there was no rape.
