Killjoy. Geee Jerry, you say that now every time a thread like this starts. I like looking at 50/60s cars - the chrome boats -
I'm no where near as old as dlq/Dave or Jerry , but I enjoy looking a the cars from 50's and 60's, and even before then.

We don't have too many folks who feel comfortable enough to start threads, let's not discourage the ones who do start threads.

BTW, I also like the blue convertible. Not too sure, but a Chevy perhaps? Can't see the taillights, if it's a Chevy, my guess is that it's between a 59 and 61?

Looks like a Chevy Impalla with side skirts and a continental kit.

I'm guessing it's a 60 chevy. Graduating from High School in 1967, these 60 cars are what my buddies and I drove back then. I had a 58 Dodge I paid $100.00 for. Drove it a couple years, sold it for $225. Was the second fastest car in my school too!
I had a 914 like the silver one above. The only Porsche I ever owed, and some would say it's a Volkwagen.

We had a 59 Chevy, but the fins on that one look a bit different.....

Blue Convertible is a 1960 Chebby - I had one. Also had '58, '62, & '64 Chebbys. '59 & '60 were the ones with the really pronounced fins. They actually seemed to create some lift on the rear at speeds above 80 MPH. Very uncomfortable feeling. In 1961 the fins started to go away.

As far as the Porche, we used to tease one of the guys in the Northeast Iowa Sports Car Club about having a Volkswagon with lock washers. His was a 356B.

SO what happened to the OP? Is it a Ford or Plymouth, or something else?
