i've had good luck with irfanview. it does batch resize/resampling as well.
Thank you.

I just downloaded it and resized one image. At first blush this looks like exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks again.

I use Irfanview, also, with good results.

What I've found out is anything I record in video in long play format isn't worth beans. Some stuff isn't too bad, so maybe I recorded it in standard speed (3 times faster than the other). I was able to save some good stuff like the 1957 and 1959 Sebring race highlights that I recorded off Speedvision - way back when.....

Probably a good idea! Once the VHS stuff is converted, you'll be too pissed and tired to watch any of it

A man's garage is his castle, in a manor of speaking.

Like George Carlin I'm moving out old stuff (bulky tv, bulky tapes, etc.) to make room for new stuff (flat screen, thin discs, etc.) to entertain myself while thinking about working on the MG. Notice I didn't say I was tossing it out..... just recycling to a MG friend so he can have new old stuff. I washed the MG yesterday; getting ready to do touch up painting.... does that count. Probably not.

Besides the sun was out, temp 70 degrees, and I just spent the afternoon bicycling. I know Jim, Jerry-west, and a couple others would consider that time well spent. It all beats real work.
