Sorry to hear you've sold the S. I bet you'll miss her! I remember driving as your wingman at the Fall Colors meet in 2003, the 2004 Spring Fling and several TomCatt drives. Really miss those days!
Here's a couple pics I saved: Don't be a stranger. A lot of the gang still hanging around don't have their S anymore, but a few of us do.
Good to see you on the forum, Carmen! I try to check in every day to see how my friends are faring. The S brought many wonderful memories and lifelong friends. I cherish those memories and still miss my little car.
Hi Carmen! The photo of me standing next to you was my first S2000 meet outside of California. Was that 2004? So twenty years later, many of us still keep in touch via Vintage. My life changed with the group and my 2001 S2000. I get so much help asking questions here and love to read what people are doing. Some I've never met, and some (Rob), only once but my PC has the S2000 Vintage Owners tab second in line, behind Yahoo email, and before the wundeground weather tab. Even if I don't post I'm always here. I think my last Vintage Meet was in 2009(?). I still go on NSX drives but never enjoy them as much as I did our Vintage meets.
I'm on my third S2000 and have a 2005 and a 2017 NSX, but I need an S2000. It doesn't get driven much either but I love to drive it top-down into Rocky Mountain National Park, just 36 miles from my house in Loveland, Colorado.
What do you like to drive now? Your daughter must be getting close to 20 years-old. How's life treating you?
I'm 66 and enjoying the freedom of living with four cats.
^March 2018. The 2007 S2000 is now in Colorado but the NSX and Crosstour are still in California.
^September 2023 in Loveland, CO. I enjoy using my zero-turn Hustler mower even though it jars my guts.
^June 2022. 2017 NSX in Rocky Mountain National Park. I just popped up there for fun.
Carmen it's ironic you posted this today. I explicitly logged in with the thought to post that perhaps the dumbest thing I've done was to sell my S2000.
I truly miss it. I love the GTS I traded it for but I do miss driving it.

What do you miss, Jerry? I love the way it fits me and how it feels in turns. If I didn't have turns to make it would be boring unless the scenery was gorgeous. Oh, and it's gutless at elevation but I've learned to rev it high if I want to pass someone. I was nervous to do it but I drove it on Old Fall River Road In RMNP, a dirt one-way road that is only open for a few months per year. It was a blast as I did it late in the day, starting at almost 4 PM, I didn't have and slowpokes and very few other cars.
Yes, 2004. Sorry, I don't date my pictures like you do!
I'm anal that way. Trying to help myself by dating stuff since I can't remember. Maybe it's because I see photos from my old childhood and wonder what year it was taken.
