Dean, I'm sorry you got this bad news. I hope there are treatments to delay or perhaps even cure the the illness. I can always loan you a few bucks.

I feel like my bad day is really small now....... after reading Dean's post!

Company downsized last week... but I still have my job....

Passed up for a promotion at work... which was given to a younger person, who everyone (including myself, excluding my boss) knows doesn't do very good work....

Oh well...... time to update the resume... maybe try somewhere else for the next 6 years or so!

Job just hasn't been fun for 2 years now.

Yo Dean, can have get in one more visit before you go? I promise you won't have to all the cops this time.

But yeah, you win and I have about two cents to rub together that you can have anytime you need them since I owe you for such great hospitality that time. You're a tough ol' bird so hang tough buddy. The fat lady hasn't even cleared her throat yet from the sound of things.
Thanks. You are most welcome at my house anytime. You may not recognize the place, though. I've done a great deal of remodeling to the place since you were here last. In fact, I even made some major improvements in the spousal department.
Lol. There's nothing wrong with that sense of humor of yours. For some reason, I thought you moved to The Villages where you wanted me to buy. I wish I had now that I REALLY NEED a warmer climate. Awww, and thank you for my continuing welcome mat. Can't wait to meet the new Mrs. someday.

Thanks. It's degenerative, irreversible, incurable, and unpredictable. But so is life for that matter. I could be worse - I could be fat.

Tell us that you have been diagnosed with "old age"!

That too, but unfortunately that's not the only diagnosis.

Seeing a specialist tomorrow to get a better picture of just how bad things are. I'm pretty sure he'll tell me I can keep buying green bananas. I'm also fairly certain he's going to tell me to eat healthier and to start exercising.
