Default so working on a new chick

Lainey knows but what would U do

working on swooning a new chick and she asks if i ride bikes - ya right maybe 30 years ago but she wants to go riding

so should i buy a bike and go for a ride all while fearing a heart attack is just one small hill away -

or

tell her i have a bad knee and at the Dr's advise i shouldn't ride but i'll meet her on the other side of the bike path

why didn't she just ask me to make dinner, cut firewood or something like that

Lie...Lie like a dog. Why risk a MCI doing something useless like riding a bike. There are much more enjoyable ways ways to induce heart failure.

Well, unless you think this relationship has some promise, I wouldn't buy a bike. They are expensive! Besides, you would go once, then never again, so she'd figure out you weren't sincere. Suggest something else - like making her dinner.

Admit you aren't in the best physical shape. Maybe she doesn't realize that? How about a stroll on a bike path, with a picnic lunch, prepared by you?

Or buy a rocking chair instead and come and join me on my front porch.

I hesistate to ever suggest anything in a situation like this, because it's not like I have a great record of success. But while none of us go out of our way to look bad when we are trying to court someone, I don't think lying is a great way to start off a relationship. Plus, I really would rather fail while being honest to myself than succeed by lying. Saves pain in the long run.

If the bike thing sounds like it might be fun to you, try it. But otherwise, don't. Besides, if she rides regularly it may be more frustrating for her to be riding with a non-rider than it would be to just not go on the bike ride at all.

Of course, if the idea is just to score and move on, then I guess you do what you have to do.
