I joined in 2005 and have gone through 4 S2000's (2 AP-1s, 1 AP-2, 1 CR). Enjoyed every minute.

The Honda embodied all of things I loved in a sports car. I loved my Honda S2000 because it was a car designed from the ground up for pure driving enjoyment. Although over 100,000 were made, in most parts of the country it is still a very rare car today. I vividly recall my test drive in a used ‘00 S2000. I stood on the throttle. It shot away like a missile. My heart sang wildly as I redlined each gear, sending it easily past 100 mph. In fact, I didn’t even realize it until my wife said in that special voice she sometimes uses “I think 120 in someone else’s car is enough!” I couldn’t sleep that night. I ordered a new ‘01 S2000 the next day.

I should have another two stars but alas I only have twenty.

Still here. Joined this board in December 2000, was on Shelley’s site before that. Moderated Under the Hood Forum early on. XVIper took over duties from me, back in the day. Anyone remember the online Christmas parties (with gift rafflle)? I used to coordinate it. Lots of fond memories here!
