I lost count, but did think I'd been around longer than that.

My displayed star array has nothing to do with anything I recognize. I joined in 2003, so maybe I should have 17. But I don't know what the assignment/granting/displaying of stars in members' signatures really means now. So I don't get very excited about the star count. You get what you get, somewhat randomly!? LOL

I was user no. 5. The first public member to sign up. Wasted far too many hours on this site in the early days.

At one time, someone from the hierarchy posted a long explanation on the new "star" system. From what I vaguely remember, the first star came after some arbitrary amount of time had passed (I think it was 5 years) and then you got more stars every year or two years or full moon or something.

Obviously, I was referring to the old star system when I started this thread. As I recall, it was accurate up until the time they got rid of it when the new system software was put in place. Said it could not handle stars.

The current star system gives them out at 3, 5 , 10 & 15 years. Lots of 5 after 3 years. There should be one for 20 now though as some have hit that milestone.

Mine shows 15 but should read 19. I'm just over it. But what can I do?
