Had a mini meet and drive here in So Cal today. 30 S2ks showed up (the pic only shows some of the lineup...)

Most of the scenery was similar to this...

We had a smattering of Vintagers scattered about and there were seven yellow cars in all (one was a Rio) First time we actually outnumbered anyone.

Here's the obligatory mirror shot... It'll give a better idea of the full lineup.

GPW was well represented by Dragonheart, one of our newer members.
NFR was alone for a while too, but fortunately another red S joined us. It was a perfect day for a drive

for more pics from the day...

We went to St. Paul for Irish Fest. Watched an event you don't see much of anymore. The National Championships for Tug of War. Our oldest daughter participates & there team took 2nd place in the 520 kg & 560 kg categories. After I download some pictures in the next day or so I'll add them to the photo thread.

Virginia Beach just isn't any fun in the rain. I hope it stops raining.

I spent Wednesday through today (Sunday) at Rincon Beach with our motorhome. We took our three doggies and they had fun too. It was lovely. I'll post some pictures in the Odds and Ends thread later. Nothing like going to sleep with the sound of waves. I was really dumb today and walked around until we left at 2:30PM, without any sunscreen on. Burnt to a crisp. I just hope it doesn't get to the itchy stage.

Glad you're still here among us, Flats. Now if we could just hear from your statemate the G-man, we can rest easy.
