Happy Anniversary, Patty!!!

I fine now (FINE - Freaked out, Insecure, Neurotic and Emotional) but the weekend was quite unpleasant. I came home from work Thursday with what I thought was an itchy bug bite on my ankle. A rash started to spread on my hands that itched, and each rash "point" was extremelypainful. I went to the doc Friday morning, they thought it was contact dermititis, like what you get from poison ivy (which I wasn't near).. . .
Friday and Saturday it continued to get worse covering my hands and forearms, feet and calves. Itched like the dickens, and to touch the skin was like rubbing acid on it. . .
Since it's practically all gone I stopped the meds last night and today I feel MUCH much better. (fingers crossed)
Anyways, today is a good day, but the past week sucked big time...
TC -- Sorry!!!! I, too, used to have problems with hives years ago -- AWFUL, AWFUL -- they usually would come on my face, lips, etc. would swell and I looked like a caricature of myself Anyway, sometimes it would affect my hands/wrists, etc. Hope you're doing much, much better today -- take care.

Saturday, Andy and I are going to a dinner at a restaurant in Pasedena, in honor of the out-of-towners that will be going on Raptor's Angeles Crest Drive on Sunday. And Sunday will be the drive and then a BBQ at Raptor's house afterward. I will get to meet a bunch of S2ki folks I've been "talking" to for over a year. Brantshali is one of them, and Ratgirl.

We went to Malibu tonight for dinner at Moonshadows, in celebration of our 20th wedding anniversary today. It was great to see and hear the ocean waves but quite overpriced for the food. We took our two kids and the boyfriend and enjoyed their company.
Happy Anniversary, Patty! What a great milestone!

Just got back from a rolicking ole time Corvette Club meet -- drove the back twisty roads from Bedford County into Highland County (about 300 miles round trip), had lunch at a fantastic old style mountain inn (yum, yum) and then hit those back mountain roads again -- We had nine corvettes (17 people) and a wonderful time was had by all. didn't even see a single S2000 today , but we'll hopefully soon do another S2k run. . . I hope. BTW, +1 hit triples several times today -- those new C5s cannot keep up with those ole c3s, guys -- it was great. I'm tired, but its a good tired.

Andy and I went on Raptor's Angeles Crest Run and then his BBQ today. Andy had tons of fun too and is now thinking I could get a 2005 in blue and he will keep my 2001 Silverstone for himself! I'll wait a few days and see if he keeps thinking this way.
I finally got to met two people I've wanted to meet for over a year, Brant and Nancy (Ratgirl).
At one of our stops there are "rice rocket" and Harley motorcycles and this time there was a group of old cars too.

Is Anchorman new, Deb? I don't recall seeing anything about it. Who's in it?

Yeah, brand new! Just came out last Fri. With Will Ferrell and Christina Applegate. He plays this smarmy 70s TV reporter. It really is very funny...

Patty, that Deuce roadster looks gorgeous!!! Hilly and I keep telling ourselves, "5 years... 5 years..."

We got the floor done in the bedroom, now to just stain, cut and install the trim, then do the doors. It's coming along...
