Dinner tomorrow night with my sis and her hubby in honor of Rick's birthday on Monday. He doesn't like birthdays.
Ahem. I think you mean in honor of my birthday since I had it first. Seniority has got to count for something around here.

My sister's oldest son is getting married tomorrow night. Had to have the tuxedos altered this morning.

Going to Best Buy in a few minutes to pick up the Dixie Chicks new album. (Yes, its a political statement.)

Giving Sheila the final size breakout for the Spring Fling Tee Shirts this evening.

Otherwise a quiet, rainy weekend.

I've got nothing going on. Andy is so busy working he can't play. My back has been hurting a lot and the Dr. told me to lay off the exercise or at least cut it in half. I'm just bummed. I'm sad about tomcatt, Andy can't play and my dad would love to see me, if he knows who I am. Maybe I'll shower, go get my dad, and bring him home. Then I'll work on the In Memory of Tom Curda ribbons. That's what I should do.

Patty,

Hope your back starts to feel better.

We expected a rainy day today, but lucked out. The "S" got her official spring cleaning so she'll be all pretty for SF.

While Rick was doing that I planted flowers. Our yard is small, but we plant a LOT of flowers. I'm stiff already and sure I'll feel it tomorrow too. We still have a LOT more to plant.

Some of the flowers attract hummingbirds; I'm hoping that pays off.

Dinner with my sis from NH tonight.

Today I finished putting up screened canopy over part of our deck. I hope to do hang out there & work some days instead of being cooped up inside.

Tonight I'm taking Ginger and meeting Virginija at the Carousel Dinner Theater. We're seeing Grease with a couple friends. The weather is hot & sunny - should be a great evening for a drive. This will be my first nighttime drive of the season - I can't wait!

I put up pictures of Tomcatt all over the house, there isn't a room that doesn't have him there . I also did two firsts....I backed the "baby" out of our garage. Krystal and Nick (her fiance) washed the "baby" for the first time since August. I had found instructions on how to "wash" her on Tom's computer and they followed those instructions to the letter. Now she is nice, clean and it just helps to do something that I know he wanted but couldn't do himself.

My other "first" was getting the nice and clean "baby" back into the garage (we have an up hill driveway). It's not a lot, but for me it was a great accomplishment and I feel so close to Tom when I'm in the car!

Next step will be to start driving again!

Hilly,

You're going to drive the S just fine. Don't let it intimidate you. And yes, you will stall it every now and again. Just start it back up and try again. You're doing fine, and we're all very proud of you.

I know it's early to think about it, but are you coming to Watkins Glen? I'd love to see you again.
