Matt,my friend,I admire you,you're so much ("Cultured...")
and I with everything you said.!!!
But,don't shave your mustache...

"As for me: I have been comptemplating shaving off my moustache that I have had since 1 Mar 71."

I am fairly certain that others would disagree with you about me being "cultured".

But, thank you very much for the compliment. I will accept it gracefully.

Matt, I want to see what you're hiding under that mustache. When Andy got rid of his, he looked so different and younger too. But, I do believe, that mustaches do a great job of hiding the male emotion. I find it amazing how much I can read in a man's lips.

Ooo la la.

Cut mine off last year after having it since '68. Was starting to get too white for my liking. Just more area to shave everyday now.

I was never able to grow a good mustache. I've wanted to try but it just doesn't work.

How true that is...I have said that to myself many many times in the past and more recently.

We are products of our enviornments and who we become and are is because of what has happened good and bad in our lives.

I am sorry if I offended anyone with venting my problems. It was just a bad couple days.

Vicki
I'm sure you offended no one. Everyone needs to vent from time to time and if anyone deserved an opportunity, it is you. We all air our problems from time and we "lean" on each other for support. I'm sure we all wish you very, very well and are here whenever you need to vent again.

My son Chris got his life on track. He is 10 months clean and sober. That is the most positive thing in my life right now. I hope I can get him to start taking classes and eventually get back to college full time.

Great news on your son LB. Things have a habit of working out for the good. Also glad you haven't abandoned us completely. Happy New Year to you and my crooner friend, Barb. Hope we'll all be singing again at some meet somewhere, someday soon.

I hope so too Bill, it's great to have you at the meets. Besides I could never distribute shirts and magnets without your help

Don't be ridiculous Vicki. We ALL need to be able to talk to friends at one time or another, and if you did offend someone they were not a friend to begin with and in my humble opinion shouldn't be on this forum. We all realize that the success of this forum is not the car but the people. The car just happened to bring us all together. Being able to discuss your situation with "strangers" like us hopefully makes it just a little easier for you to get on with your life. This forum and the friends that I have made through it even though I might only see them once a year has been invaluable to me, and it is comforting to realize that if I ever need anything the people in the Vintage forum would be the first there for me.
