Default So the Vintage Aussie's 2 clear of the field

Greg Norman is two shots ahead going in to the final round of the British Open tomorrow. Given his history in final rounds of majors over the years I'm not inclined to bet on it but I hope he wins.

At 53 he'd be the oldest to ever win a major.

^ I'm rooting for him, too! Lousy conditions so far.

I dunno so much about that. The wind, rain, et al. seems to me to favor an experienced two time champion who's seen these condtions before. Go Shark!

hopefully norman will hold up and win.
I'd hate to see him fold on the back nine again.

I was surprised (but not really) by Duval's collapse today. I'd like to see Norman win tomorrow and next weekend at the Senior British Open.

Has there ever been a golfer who has won on the 'regular' PGA Tour one weekend, and win the following weekend on the Senior Tour?

BTW-Michelle Wie was D/Q'd today for failing to sign her scorecard following Friday's round (she left the scorer's tent w/o signing the card & came back later & signed it.)

Good question but it doesn't apply here. The Open Championship isn't sanctioned by the PGA. The R&A of Great Britain sanctions that event.

Just like the USGA sanctions the US Open.

I'm aware of that, but my question is still valid.

Oh well. Hats off to Harrington - he played the course as he found it and definitely deserved to win.
