It was good, Val. Our Saturday early celebration went well and we had real quality time with the granddaughter when she was not overtired from Christmas Eve celebrations as she was last year.

On Sunday, we headed to NH to have a quiet Christmas with my sister. Good time all around.

I think I'll do something similar next year.

I was just trying to get some kind of banter going. Everybody seems so blahhh. I guess its just that blah time of year, huh?

Well, I've been bantering. We had a good time. Quiet dinner with my parents, then have been involved with the +1's kids. They left for NJ today, back Sun, so I'm resting.

MsP. I noticed some of your banter. Glad you've enjoyed the kids and can certainly understand the resting part. I think I'll log off and go rest a bit as well.

Our day was really nice. Did next to nothing. A couple weeks ago, +1 dropped a neclace hint (we'd been talking about just getting a new bed) so I ordered the match to the earrings I posted in a previous thread. So she got her birthday present early and her CHristmas present. It was a huge hit! She also brok the rule and got me a new wallet, quite extravagant, from Territory Ahead. Funny thing is, I'd looked at it and thought it was too expenssive for a wallet, though I really liked it.

We had my trademark completely homemade (well not the noodles) lasagne for supper

Me too. Can't have my PPD suffering because it's the holidays! It's been really quiet at work these last couple of days. Val's right. We need more banter around here folks!

We had a quiet day with everyone diving into their new books. It's not very social, but we can't help ourselves.

We had a low key Christmas and spent the day with Barbara's Mother and Sister. As there are NO kids in the loop we do not exchange presents except for time spent with each other. At our age, time is a present.
