Default Snow! In October? In New Jersey?

Hard to believe that we are in the middle of a snow storm. So far we have about 4 inches of snow on the ground and we're supposed to get up to a foot of snow by tomorrow morning. I heard that there have only been 13 snowstorms in this region in October since weather has been recorded.

We have tickets to see "CATS" at the local county college this afternoon. I wonder if it's going to be postponed. It probably will be.

I'll post some photos later.

Rob, today is gorgeous in the Napa Valley. This morning our grapes were finally harvested, about 5 weeks late due to our cool summer. But it should be in the high 70s today. Hop on a plane, bring your money, and come visit the warm and beautiful Napa Valley.

I'm in the 6"-12" belt. ICK doesn't begin to describe it.

We've gotten about 12 to 15 inches of snow already. We've been outside with our snowblower cleaning the driveway. We attempted to get out to see "CATS" but we couldn't get the car up the driveway. Adam was at work and had to leave early. He got stuck on the way home and had to shovel himself out.

The trees still have leaves and a lot of them have snapped.

It's February in October here.

I took this picture this morning looking out of my front door. The snow had started an hour earlier.

I took this one this afternoon looking out of my kitchen door. Notice how high the snow is on the bar b que and deck rail. We measured 12" on the deck.

Adam's car after he got home from working in the library.

Rob...this reminds me of the following weekend of the "wheel nut and cabin filter" day we had a few years ago at your place. I believe you had snow in October, the following weekend. So, it does snow in Jersey in October!

Edit: But not this much!!!
