Don't assume that the route will be the same as last year's.

1. Been talking to kgf3076 about this, and plan to combine another trip in the area so I can do it.
2. I don't need the hotel, have many friends who live in the area which I'll want to visit while I'm in the area, but I'll want to participate in the Friday supper with kgf.
3. I'm running behind getting ready for a 5 hr. evening class so I can't keep reading about it until later, whatever fees are required kgf3076 will cover for me (inside joke, sorry!).
4. The "Vintage members only" means I have to pay extra to be a member of that? Man, I hope the members don't vote on acceptance, I frequent only the S2KCA site, and word might get out about my humor, or lack thereof, ha!
5. As I told kgf, I don't get to do these type of things normally b/c of time/job constraints, so I'm excited about the possibility!!!

No need to pay to be Vintage and there is no vote (good thing for me ). You only have to claim to be 40 or more years old to qualify. You can even become a "Pre-vint" if you are under 40 and promise not to be a punk. . If you are well over 40 then you are welcome to be a punk if that is your typical disposition .

Couldn't have said it better myself, Mark (but I might substitute curmudgeon for punk in the over 40 category ).

It will be good to meet you. I'll be updating the first post within the next day or two - don't worry if you don't see your name for a bit....

1. Cool! Do I need to send funds to someone, or just carry large quantities of cash to distribute to anyone that asks?
2. In a more serious note, since I am getting on board late, just let me know what I should do, where to do it, and at what time to do it, etc.
3. Does this mean I have to actually dust off the inside of my work car?
4. And, if kgf7036 acts like he doen't know me, it's just because he is afraid I'll embarass him, ha! Actually, I'm only funny online, in person I'm boring, so he'll be OK.
