Default A Side Trip

We took a 4 day drive up to Callaway Gardens in GA last weekend. It's about 80 miles west of Macon. Being from Florida we needed a quick shot of fall color. We weren't disappointed. This a nice backroad drive, twisty two lane but not so tight you can't make pretty good time.

Two of my favorite subjects.

CVVT in the (__!__) Z

^They have a Butterfly center which is really cool.

They have miles of scenic drives within the gardens and the gardens are adjacent to two national parks that are also a lot of fun to drive through. It was a great weekend vacation if anybody is every in the area I would recommend it.

Great pics, Dave.

LOVE the butterfly ones, not so sure about the car ones though.

The photos display such brilliant color ... Glad you guys enjoyed your trip. I haven't been to Callaway since Jr. High School ... maybe it's time to go back, especially since it's only a few hours away from here.

Those photos are so beautiful, I'm trying to set them as my background but they don't come out right. Could I have one original (the one with the yellow flowers, please?

Absolutely beautiful.

It grows on you. Especially on long trips.
