Our two cats are now four. While I was away my wife caught another kitten (turns out there were 5 in the litter), and one came back from the pound as it was too traumatized to be re-homed. So currently we have Horse out patrolling the property, Winston and Tom hiding in the workshop for a few days until they're settled enough to go outside with their father, and Junior stubbornly refusing to leave the garage, where it seems he's decided sleeping in the S2000's engine bay is the best course of action. We've put a cage trap in there and removed all other food but it's been two days now and he's still not desperate enough to fall for it again.

Meanwhile, the mother, who's already been named Jess, is out there somewhere, hopefully not getting pregnant again. Once Junior's been trapped and moved to the workshop to reunite with his brothers we'll put the cage trap out for Jess and hopefully catch, fix and release her with the kittens.

This is turning into a major operation.

We finally caught Junior! We've moved him (still in the cage trap) into the workshop to re-socialize with his brothers. We'll let him out in a little while after everyone has settled down, then in a couple of days we'll work on getting the three of them outside.

It's good to finally have access to all the toys in the garage, hopefully the clean-up isn't too bad.

Heimdall went to the vet today. new weight 17.5 pounds. basically he's putting on abut 2 lbs a week. or 10% per week.
compound that interest, Oh he's gonna be a big boy.

Adorable grandnieces love the baby panda...one says she wants him as a pet. Easy to see why. So cute!

We have a very overcast sky. Titan keeps wandering from window to window trying to find his sunny spots.
but he's under my desk again so he's happy.
