...and right on cue, this is probably his son, whom we trapped overnight. He's has almost identical markings, and is off to the animal shelter now. We caught this one's brother/sister the night before last, so there's two more to catch, plus the mother. The kittens might be young enough to tame and be rehomed, the mother's future is...not so bright. This is one of the least fun parts of rural life.

^Yep. I grew up on a farm and we always had a family of feral barn cats present. We did feed them, but never were able to get close to them.

Okay, she's not running in this video but she was run-ning, just like Forrest Gump!

I've never owned a hamster but she does run fast sometimes but not for long spurts as I think hamsters do. The whole reason I bought a cat wheel when she was a kitten back in California was because she'd get inside my clothes dryer and run. I'm just so glad to see her feeling comfortable in Colorado now that she's been here for a year.

I think that is a great way to keep them active, I wish I had one for my overweight cat back in the day.

My fatty Atty (Atticus) won't be using it, I'm fairly certain.

^2-10-2021. Atticus. I see this pose of his everyday many times. He's my badass big boy and I love him.

Talia, fyi, is walking but more than I am these days - old age and laziness are becoming close friends of mine.... so walking is ok.

I ride my ElliptiGO when it's in the mid 40s if it's not too windy. If it's colder than that I may take a walk but it's been frigid (below 32°F) lately so I haven't gotten any exercise since Sunday, after I got back from California, rode 26 miles, and it was decent. I figure in another week I'll be out there again. I like and need exercise. We slow down. I have.

I enjoy walking but I haven't done any. Donna does it for me - does that count? Probably not. An old ankle injury has played a big part in my sitting on my ass.
