We were just talking about this topic this morning. I made some chocolate peanut cluster candies for our kids and their families, and I put them in plastic containers. I put the plastic containers under the Christmas tree saying that it is good that we don't have a dog anymore, because the dog would get to the candies. As I recalled, we did have that happen many years ago when we did have a dog. There was a box under the Christmas tree from someone else, and our dog sniffed it out, and ripped open the box to get to some chocolates.

Roxy didn't finish "opening" the box, so I guess she figured it out that it wasn't something that she would want to eat...

Morgan had been with us almost four months. She was 6.5 pounds when we got her. She is three but looked like a kitten. She was 8 pounds at her first vet trip for a nail trim. I think she may be bigger now. Her fur looks good and she is happy. Shelter kitties are the best. She's grown into her long legs and ears a bit. Last pic was when we met her at the shelter. I could not make that pic display first.

Not yet but she said maybe next year . . . will work on it.

BTW, I just ordered her a riding vest for Xmas. She decided it might be a good idea after getting tossed off a bit ago when her horse was spooked. Since she has an advanced case of osteoporosis, I agreed it might be a good idea.

Morgan became my subject this afternoon. She has runny eyes, one more so than the other. I try to wipe it away with a moist cotton ball, but she is just not cooperative. I will mention it to the vet, but unless she has a quick fix of some kind, there is no way in hell we'd get medication in this cat's eyes. I touch up her photos to hide her runny eyes.
