^ 11-28-2020. My Atticus in his favorite pose. He lays like that all the time hoping that I won't be able to resist him. It always works. I'll pet him and half the time he'll bring out his claws but sometimes he won't.
I am in quite a few Facebook groups, some of which are closed, meaning you have to ask to join. That's a way to keep out the jerks and spammers, as I've done with my ElliptiGO group. I just joined "THIS CAT IS CHONKY", which is a closed group on Facebook. I kept seeing "chonky" used in other cat Facebook groups that I'm in so I finally looked it up and it's just like a nice way of saying I have a fat cat. Well my Atticus is a little on the chub side so I joined the group and realized that he's kind of like me. We're both chonky but they're far chonkier cats and people than he and I.

My Hershey was 23 lbs, definitely chonky. We never thought of him as a super fat cat, just a big boy. lol. But he was heavy alright.

My wife has been strict about not getting any more cats, the loss of our last cat in 2020 was almost too much for our family to handle. She wanted to take a break away from more pets. But today she started talking about what kind of cat she would get "next" . We may just have a new cat in the near future. We need another cat to keep our older cat in line, she has gotten out of control since our other cat passed away, our other cat seemed to keep her under control as he was a bit dominant and weighed 4 times as much as her, lol. She has been a real handful since he passed away.
